Plastic culture vessels are a mainstay for cell culture experiments. When culture vessels are transferred for microscopic observation from cell incubators to benchtops, the subsequent rapid temperature drop often causes condensation to form under vessel lids/sides, interfering with cell observation. To prevent this problem we have developed the HIENAI Glass Plate. A HIENAI Glass Plate placed on a culture vessel acts as a transparent heat source to prevent (or reverse) condensation formation. A single HIENAI Glass Plate suffices to prevent condensation for up to 10 minutes of observation time. For longer observation times multiple HIENAI Glass Plates can be prepared, with plate exchanges approximately every 10 minutes. Feature: HIENAI Glass Plates possess high light transmittance and transparency with almost no optical distortion, and thus enable facile microscopic observation.
