Scientific Description
The recombinant human IL7Raconsists of 227 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 26.3 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhIL7Ra is approximately 45-50 kDa due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human IL7Ra (NP_002176.2) extracellular domain (Met 1-Gly 236) was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
