Scientific Description
The recombinant human SIGIRR consists of 129 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 14 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rhSIGIRR is approximately 25-35 kDa due to glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the human SIGIRR (Q6IA17-1) extracellular domain (Met 1-His 118) was expressed, fused with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus and a signal peptide at the N-terminus.
