Scientific Description
The recombinant human DR6 consists of 320 amino acids and predicts a molecular mass of 35 kDa. By SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, the apparent molecular mass of rh DR6 is approximately 50-60 kDa due to the glycosylation. A DNA sequence encoding the extracellular domain (Met 1-Leu 350) of human DR6 (NP_055267.1) was expressed with a polyhistidine tag at the C-terminus.
