Interferon-induced helicase C domain-containing protein 1

The IFIH1 protein is an innate immune receptor that detects viral nucleic acids and triggers an antiviral response. IFIH1 is critical for type I interferon induction and recognizes ligands such as mRNA lacking 2-O-methylation and long double-stranded RNA.
