It stimulates the production of essential enzymes-a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase-that are pivotal in cellular defense against viral infections. IFN-alpha B/IFNA8 Protein, Human (HEK293) is the recombinant human-derived IFN-alpha B/IFNA8 protein, expressed by HEK293, with tag free and additional two amino acids (Gly & Pro) at the N-terminus.
