Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 7

The IGFBP-7 protein has moderate affinity to bind to IGF-I and IGF-II and significantly stimulates the production of prostacyclin (PGI2). In addition to its interaction with insulin-like growth factors, IGFBP-7 also contributes to cell adhesion, suggesting its role in adhesion-related cellular processes and potential effects on cell-matrix interactions.
