IL-2 Protein, produced by activated T-cells, NK cells, and helper T-cells, is crucial for immune response and tolerance. It binds to receptor complexes, activating downstream signaling pathways. IL-2 Protein acts as a growth factor, enhances NK-cell activity, promotes B-cell proliferation, and regulates regulatory T-cells. It also participates in differentiating effector T-cell subsets and memory CD8-positive T-cells.
