L-Sepiapterin, also known as Sepiapterin, is a precursor compound crucial for the production of tetrahydrobiopterin (BH4), which serves as a coenzyme for endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS). This compound demonstrates its efficacy by improving endothelial dysfunction in small mesenteric arteries from db/db mice and promoting angiogenesis.
