Endoribonuclease LACTB2

As an endoribonuclease, LACTB2 protein preferentially cleaves the 3 purine-pyrimidine dinucleotide motif within single-stranded RNA, producing a cleavage product with a free 3-OH group. It is worth noting that its enzymatic activity is only directed against single-stranded RNA and does not extend to double-stranded RNA or DNA.
