Lurosetron (GR-87442) is the 6-fluoro analogue of Alosetron. It functions as a serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist. Lurosetron inhibits recombinant (rbt) CYP1A2 with an IC50 of 0.1 microM and also inhibits other CYP subtypes, including rbtCYP2C9 and rbtCYP3A4, with IC50 values ranging from 3.5 microM to 16 microM.
