    M-31850 is a potent, selective and competitive beta-hexosaminidase (Hex) inhibitor with IC 50 s of 6.0 microM and 3.1 microM for human HexA and human HexB , respectively. M-31850 also competitively inhibits beta-N-acetyl-D-hexosaminidase OfHex2 with a K i of 2.5 microM [1] [2] .
