MMP-2/MMP-9-IN-1 is a highly selective, orally active and potent type IV collagenase (MMP-9 and MMP-2) inhibitor with IC50s of 0.24 and 0.31 microM for MMP-9 and MMP-2, respectively. MMP-2/MMP-9-IN-1 is orally active in animal models of tumor growth and metastasis. MMP-2/MMP-9-IN-1 can be used for the research of cancer[1].
