A murine monoclonal antibody to an epitope on C6 protein. This monoclonal antibody was raised against purified human C. It is specific for an antigen expressed both on the native C6 molecule as well as on C6 in the MAC. It will not inhibit lysis of EA and will bind to MAC bound to a membrane. Quidels C6 monoclonal antibody has been used in a variety of experimental techniques including EIA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
