Features Rapid drying, highly transparent, and does not form bubbles. Highly soluble in xylene, does not degenerate or stain the specimen. Can withstand long-term storage after mounting. Tube design provides easy control of amounts used and limits air exposure, so no variability in concentration. Specifications: Specific gravity: 0.89sp; viscosity: 33cp; refractive index: 1.41 Method of use Squeeze out an amount of the same size as the sample section at one location on the cover glass or sample. Caution After use, always replace cap and store in a cool, dark place. Reference materials Use Mount Quick Aqueous when samples are not dehydrated and cleared (photograph because the color fades during long-term storage) and use Mount Quick Tube when samples are dehydrated and cleared (can be permanently preserved). Staining data chart for Mount Quick Tube and Mount Quick Aqueous Both Mount Quick Tube and Mount Quick Aqueous can be used with methyl green and BCIP/NBT staining, but are not suited for long-term storage. After staining, we recommend photographing the slide as soon as possible, as the color can fade in 24 hours after drying, dehydrating, clearing, and mounting.
