As a result of glycosylation, the apparent molecular mass of mouse ENPP2 is approximately 55-75 kDa in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. A DNA sequence encoding the mature form of mouse ENPP2 (Q9R1E6-1) (Ser 49-Ile 862) was fused with a polyhistidine tag at the N-terminus.
