Compatible samples: cell culture supernates, serum and plasma(heparin, EDTA, citrate). This is a TMB colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit with short assay time and fast experiment set up. Gp130/IL6ST tissue specificity: Found in tissues such as brain, heart, thymus, spleen, kidney, lung and liver. Found in all the cell lines tested except BaF-B03. Expression not restricted to IL6-responsive cells.
