GeneTexs Mouse-on-Mouse IHC Staining kit is designed to allow the use of anti-mouse antibodies on mouse tissues. Mouse tissue contains endogenous immunoglobulin (Ig) which causes significant background in the detection of mouse primary antibodies due the inability of anti-mouse secondary antibodies to distinguish between the primary antibody and endogenous Ig. Therefore it is essential to block endogenous mouse Ig present on mouse tissue before applying primary mouse antibody. This kit provides the user with a rapid and easy to use IHC detection system. It gives the best signal-to-noise ratio available since the amplification is achieved without the use of biotin, eliminating the background of endogenous biotin from tissues that are rich in Biotin.Features and Benefits- Detect mouse antibodies in mouse tissue without background!- Higher sensitivity than standard IHC detection- Lower background: Amplification without biotin avoids background from endogenous biotin- Better results on difficult-to-work antibodies and nuclear staining- Save cost due to further dilution of primary antibody
