Muraglitazar is a PPAR alpha/gamma dual agonist for the research of type 2 diabetes and associated dyslipidemia. Muraglitazar shows potent activity in vitro at human PPARalpha (EC50 = 320 nM) and PPARgamma(EC50 = 110 nM)[1].
