Scientific Description
The NAMPT Inhibitor Screening Assay Kit is designed to measure NAMPT activity for screening and profiling applications. The key to the assay is a coupled reaction including NMNAT and ADH. NAMPT converts nicotinamide substrate to nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) via PRPP. NMNAT subsequently converts NMN to NAD+ , which is reduced by ADH to NADH, permitting detection of the fluorescent NADH signal.
