Netrin G2 encodes a GPI-linked membrane protein which is amember of the netrin/UNC6 family. Netrin G2 promotes neurite outgrowth of both axons and dendrites.There are 2 isofroms produced by alternative splicing. The protein possesses a number of potential Nglycosylationsites.
