OLFM4 protein may promote the proliferation of pancreatic cancer cells by affecting the transition from S phase to G2/M phase, highlighting its role in cancer cell cycle dynamics. In myeloid leukemia cell lines, OLFM4 exhibits dual effects of inhibiting growth and inducing differentiation and apoptosis.
