    Oxazolone is a semi-antagonist that induces acute or chronic colorectal inflammation and is used to construct models of colitis, as well as models of airway allergic disease.Oxazolone-induced inflammation can be attenuated by neutralizing anti-IL-4 or anti-TNF-alpha antibodies, or by the decoy IL-13R2alfa-Fc protein.
