Proenkephalin-B

The PDYN protein, or prodynorphin, regulates Leu-enkephalins, mimicking opiate drug effects and impacting pain perception and stress responses. Dynorphin peptides, like Dynorphin A(1-13), uniquely regulate the kappa opioid receptor, with A(1-13) being exceptionally potent-700 times stronger than Leu-enkephalin-displaying typical opioid activity. PDYN Protein, Human (HEK293, His) is the recombinant human-derived PDYN protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-6*His labeled tag.
