PF-06952229(UNII-1KKS7U3X86) is a selective, orally available inhibitor of the serine/threonine kinase TGF-beta receptor 1 (TGF-beta-R1). It inhibits pSMAD2 in both tumor and immune cells, reducing TGF-beta signalling and reversing EMT in vitro. It modulates the tumor immune microenvironment and shows antitumor activity in mouse models.
