Phenyl beta-D-glucopyranoside has anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory activities. Phenyl beta-D-glucopyranoside inhibits nitric oxide (NO) production, and the expression of iNOS and COX-2. Phenyl beta-D-glucopyranoside also inhibits the nuclear translocation of NF-kappaB[1].
