Overview
- SupplierGeneTex
- Product NamePMP22 antibody
- Delivery Days Customer9
- Application Supplier NoteIHC-P: Use at a dilution of 1/50 for 10 minutes at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM Citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at RT for 20 minutes. Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the end user.

- Scientific DescriptionThis gene encodes an integral membrane protein that is a major component of myelin in the peripheral nervous system. Studies suggest two alternately used promoters drive tissue-specific expression. Various mutations of this gene are causes of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease Type IA, Dejerine-Sottas syndrome, and hereditary neuropathy with liability to pressure palsies. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2013]
