Pogostone is isolated from mint and has antibacterial and anticancer activities. Pogostone inhibited gram-negative bacteria and Gram-positive bacteria, and also showed inhibitory effect on Bacillus sclericae, with MIC value of 0.098 ug/mL. Pogostone can induce apoptosis and autophagy.
