Pseurotin A, a secondary metabolite of Aspergillus and other fungi, is a competitive inhibitor of chitin synthase and a neuritogenic agent. Pseurotin A inhibits IgE production (IC 50 =3.6 microM). Antitumor activity [1] [2] [3] .
