The Q-Plex™ Human T Cell Cytokine HS (9-Plex) is a fully quantitative plate-based multiplex ELISA for the detection of cytokines associated with T cell-mediated immunity. T cells are one of the major lymphocyte arms of the adaptive immune system. Different subsets of T cells exist including Th1, Th2, Th17, and Tregs. Each subset of T cell is characterized by signature cytokine profiles as well as transcription factors and are specialized for protecting the host against different threats. T cell biology is studied in a variety of conditions including cancer, autoimmunity, allergy, and infectious diseases.
