RAB31 protein binds GDP and GTP and participates in processes like protein transport, insulin response, and receptor internalization. It is mainly located in the early endosome, phagocytic vesicle, and trans-Golgi network membrane. RAB31 is also a biomarker for severe acute respiratory syndrome and is broadly expressed in tissues such as the brain, adrenal glands, and 22 others.
