As one of the major cell adhesion molecules, fibronectin plays a key role in many important physiological processes, such as embryogenesis, wound healing, hemostasis and thrombosis. Fibronectin can promote cell growth, increase cell apposition rate, enhance cell metabolism level and shorten cell growth time.
