Rivastigmine (S-Rivastigmine) is an orally active, potent cholinesterase (ChE) inhibitor that inhibits butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) and acetylcholinesterase (AChE),IC50 0.037 uM and 4.15 uM, respectively. Rivastigmine can pass through the blood-brain barrier (BBB).
