Protein XRP2

The RP2 protein is a GTPase-activating protein (GAP) that regulates intracellular trafficking between the Golgi apparatus and the ciliary membrane. It ensures the precise localization of proteins such as NPHP3 to the ciliary membrane by catalyzing the hydrolysis of GTP ARL3, resulting in the release of UNC119 (or UNC119B).
