Salmeterol (xinafoate) (Standard) is the analytical standard of Salmeterol (xinafoate). This product is intended for research and analytical applications. Salmeterol (GR 33343X) xinafoate is a potent and selective human beta2 adrenoceptor agonist. Salmeterol shows potent stimulation of cAMP accumulation in CHO cells expressing human beta2, beta1 and beta3 adrenoceptors with pEC50s of 9.6, 6.1, and 5.9, respectively [1] .
