Semagacestat is a gamma-secretase inhibitor, inhibits beta-amyloid (Abeta42), Abeta38 and Abeta40 with IC50s of 10.9, 12 and 12.1 nM, respectively; also inhibits Notch signaling with IC50 of 14.1 nM. Semagacestat can be used for the research of alzheimers disease[1].
