Squalene synthetase can produce squalene under the co-action of cofactors. The principle of this kit is that the absorbance of cofactors can be measured at 340 nm, and the amount of cofactors consumed in the catalytic reaction is proportional to the activity of squalene synthase, and the activity of squalene synthase can be calculated according to the change of absorbance value per unit time.
