(+/-)-Stylopine inhibits TNF-alpha, IL-6, and NO production, and attenuates phosphorylation of p38 MAPK, ERK1/2. (+/-)-Stylopine inhibits NF-kappaB expression. (+/-)-Stylopine exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. (+/-)-Stylopine has protective effects against foot edema, gastric ulcers, anxiety, depression, and acute lung injury[1][2][3][4].
