Tagitinin A is a plant insecticidal compound, it has phytotoxic activity, it shows significant inhibition of wheat coleoptile growth, seed germination, and the growth of STS and weeds. Tagitinin A is also a PPARalpha/gamma dual agonist , it exerts anti-diabetic effect through PPARgamma pathway.
