TC-1698 dihydrochloride is a selective alpha7 nicotinic acetylcholine receptors agonist with EC50 value of 0.16 microM and 0.46 microM for monkey alpha7 nicotinic receptor and human alpha7 nicotinic receptor, respectively. TC-1698 dihydrochloride improves memory and has neuroprotective effects. TC-1698 dihydrochloride can be used for Alzheimers disease research[1].
