  • Scientific Description
The protein contains the Toxoplasma gondii MIC3 immunodominant regions, amino acids 234-306. The protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique. Background: Toxoplasma gondii is an obligate intracellular protozoan parasite that infects all warmblooded animals, including humans, and causes toxoplasmosis. The homodimeric micronemal protein MIC3, which is a potent adhesin molecule of T. gondii, could be a significant candidate vaccine against toxoplasmosis.
