The TXNL4A protein plays a key role in pre-mRNA splicing and is an important component of U5 snRNP, U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP complex, and precatalytic spliceosome (spliceosome B complex). It contributes to spliceosome assembly and is an integral part of the complex process of spliceosome function.
