ZEB2 is a transcriptional inhibitor that binds to DNA sequence 5-CACCT-3 in differentpromoters. ZEB2 interacts with CBX4, CTBP1, and activated SMAD1, SMAD2 and SMAD3, and itrepresses the transcription of E-cadherin.
