In radioimmunoassays Mc3 bound to membranes of HMFG, MCF-7, MDA-MB- 157, SKBR-3, and BT-20 cells but not breast fibroblast, Hela, HT-29, Bristol 8, Hs294T, Hs695T, Hs785T, Hs769T, A498, PANC-1, MIA PaCa-2 or A-549 cells (Ceriani et al, 1983). Human Mc3 was characterised using biodistribution studies and shown to have similar properties to the murine Mc3 (Couto et al, 1995).
