- Scientific DescriptionBOB-1 (OBF-1; POU domain class 2-associating factor 1) is a transcriptional co-activator that interacts with the transcription factors OCT-1 or OCT-2 in regulating transcription of immunoglobulin genes. BOB-1 is expressed principally by B-cell lymphocytes. In normal tonsil, the germinal center B cells all express BOB-1, while only scattered cells in the mantle zone express this protein. Expression of BOB-1, OCT-2 and PU.1 transcription factors are often down-regulated in classic Hodgkin lymphomas, in contrast to many cases of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. - Recombinant Antibody. This antibody reacts to human BOB-1/OBF-1 (B-cell-specific coactivator) (POU domain class 2-associating factor 1). Applications: WB, IHC. Source: Rabbit. Liquid. 50% Glycerol/PBS with 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide.
