The original antibody was used for an ELISA on huCD83Ig fusion protein. Here it showed that the binding of this antibody to CD83 is inhibited by ELBE-1. This antibody was used for flow cytometry on huCD83-expressing cells (Papp et al., 2013; PMID:23607344), and on activated human dendritic cells (Cao et al., 2005; PMID:15320871, Pashine et al., 2008; PMID:18079004). This antibody was used for a western blot on HuCD83Ig fusion protein (Papp et al., 2013; PMID:23607344), and on human CD83 fusion proteins (Pashine et al., 2008; PMID:18079004).
