Epitope mapping has revealed that the 25B6 anti-CTIP2 monoclonal antibody recognizes an antigen within the 150 amino acids located at the extreme amino terminus of the protein, CTIP2-(1-150).

This antibody detects two bands corresponding to Ctip2, a protein highly expressed in brain and malignant T-cells from patients with adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma.
