  • Antibody Specificity
This antibody is specific for the amino acid residues 284-310 of human estrogen receptor (hER-alpha36). The estrogen receptor is a nuclear hormone receptor. The steroid hormones and their receptors are involved in the regulation of eukaryotic gene express
  • Application Supplier Note
To characterize the binding of this antibody an ELISA was performed against biotinylated ERalpha36 using the scFv version. The scFv version of this antibody can also recognize human ERalpha36 in a western blot assay. And to identify the therapeutic advantages of this antibody, BCAP-37 tumors were implanted in balb/c nude mice after which the scFv version of this antibody was administered. The tumor sizes showed a significant difference with the control group (US20110311517).
