  • Antibody Specificity
The antibody binds an epitope within domain D4 of human FLT3.
  • Application Supplier Note
The clone was shown to selectively bind to human FLT3 with high affinity and to block FL binding. The ability of the antibody to bind the receptor was examined by ELISA (EC50= 0.2 nM). The ability of the antibody to block receptor-ligand binding was examined in a FL binding competition ELISA, the antibody blocked the binding of FL to FLT3 with a IC50 within the range of 7 nM. The clone binds FLT3 with an affinity of 0.27 nM as determined by surface plasmon resonance (SPR). The in vivo efficacy of the clone was determined in SEM-K2 cells, a human ALL cell line expressing wild type FLT3. In comparison to human IgG, the clone treatment all significantly prolonged survival in the SEM-K2 leukemia model (US8071099B2).
