    Immunoglobulins are heterotetramers composed of 2 immunoglobulin heavy and 2 immunoglobulin light chains. The heavy chain has one variable domain (VH) and three or four constant domains (CH1, CH2, CH3, and CH4). Each light chain exhibits one variable domain (VL) and one constant domain (CL). The variable region (VH and VL) is responsible for antigen recognition and binding while the constant regions (CH and CL) primarily mediate the Ig effector functions, which includes complement activation and Fc Receptor binding. - Recombinant Antibody. This antibody reacts to the Fc region of all gamma heavy chains of human immunoglobulins, including gamma1, gamma2, gamma3, and gamma4. No cross reactivity with other human heavy chains, mouse IgG, rat IgG or goat IgG. Applications: ICC, IHC, FACS, ELISA. Source: Rabbit. Liquid. 50% Glycerol/PBS with 1% BSA and 0.09% sodium azide.
